Two days on Mount Olympus
Join us on an adventure that everyone should experience once in their lifetime!
We start from Gortsia and our journey takes us through dense beech and pine forests, up to an altitude of 1940 metres, where the Petrostruga refuge awaits us.
Relax in the shade of the Heldreich pines and enjoy delicacies from your well-stocked Trouvàs.
Hike among centuries-old Heldreich pines, experience the wild side of the mountain with its changing vegetation in the alpine zone and at the neck.
Stop for breathtaking photos of the Thermaic Gulf and the Plateau of the Muses. Our day ends at Apostolidis Refuge (2697m) where we spend the night.
In the morning after waking up, we prepare for the summit at 2918m.
Pass the path below Zeus' Throne (Stefani), the second highest peak at 2914m.
We reach the foot of the Mytikas slope (Louki), secure ourselves and make our way up!
Now we stand on the highest peak in Greece and enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the pantheon.
Peaks dot the landscape in every direction.
We begin the descent, pass the protected area and continue towards Gortsia.
Here we conclude a beautiful and unforgettable journey. Basic equipment is provided.
