Die Tourguides waren sehr nett, immer für offen für Spaß und sprechen mehrere Sprachen.
Die Buggys sind in einem Top Zustand und sehr modern!
What we should have known before booking:
- the route was extremely dusty and there was very limited visibility, we should have carried handkerchiefs to save our lungs
- the guides are extremely controlling regarding the pace at which we drive and accelerate the buggy, it felt like driving a car on a very rocky road, and not the adventure that was promised. We understand safety is key, but we just wish we knew that there is basically no freedom on the pace and way in which we drive before booking - not the thrilling outdoor adventure that was promised
- there was no commentary or explanation from the guides about where we were or where we were going besides a couple of sentences about the monastery on top
- 60-70% of the route is a narrow dusty lane, and the views are limited. It felt more like a ‘training’ experience and less like a tourist excursion
The aspects that were outright bad:
- the guides were not polite, and threatened to send us back by taxi when we accelerated on the turn. They did not explain what we did wrong exactly when we asked, and we felt caught completely off guard
- the buggy engines heat up like crazy, and it was significantly hotter inside the buggy than it was outside
- there was a lack of professionalism since we showed up half an hour in advance and still had to wait due to other customers who came very late. There was no communication about this.
Overall I would recommend that you read the other reviews and be aware of the pitfalls before booking.
